The course Aims to discuss the principles of personal development planning so that learners can
- Recognise the value of personal development planning for the individual and the dental team
- Discuss the importance of reflective practice for professional development
- Describe how to construct a personal development plan, as required the by the GDC’s Enhanced CPD Scheme
- Identify at least one learning need and use this to start writing a PDP
Outcomes
Produce a PPD that recognises the learners skills and strengths, so they can develop their areas of weaknesses and further develop their skills. Learners will consider the value of reflective practice and determine ways to embed reflective practice into their development processes . Following the workshop Leaners will produce their PDP meeting GDC requirements
