Having worked in dentistry for a couple of decades, I am convinced that the work of dental teams has never been as important to the population's well-being or that dentistry has never been a more challenging work place than it is right now.
The tutoring team at The Glenys Bridges Academy have extensive combined experience of the day-to-day challenges of providing excellent dental services. We have pleasure in supporting our dental colleagues in clinics all over the UK and internationally and enabling them to find innovative ways to overcome the never-ending range of unprecedented circumstances that are now part of everyday life.
We recognise that all our learners are unique, so we have created courses that recognise and celebrate their uniqueness; whether they have concerns about their IT skills or the courses' financial requirements, we can provide options to enrich their learning experience and meet their needs.
We offer a range of academic and professional CPD courses. A subject specialist leads each area of the curriculum with a team of tutors and experts in the skill set.

Glenys offers a range of leadership and management programmes, she a three times-published author and contributor to Messages from Dental Masters 2.
She has developed and delivers a range of qualifications for the dental team including practice management qualifications including a CQC Registered Management Qualification at Level 5 accredited by the Open College Network, West Midlands.

Alison Fisher AIM
CEO & Head of Centre
Becoming Head of Centre and owner of The Glenys Bridges Academy has been one of the proudest achievements of my career. Since starting my journey in dentistry in 1999 and qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2001, I have always been passionate about supporting others, encouraging growth, and helping dental professionals achieve their potential.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in dental nursing, Oral Health Education, mentoring trainee nurses, practice management, and compliance.
Joining Denttrack and The Glenys Bridges Academy in 2023 allowed me to combine my passion for dentistry with education and leadership.
Progressing from Deputy Head to Head of Centre, and becoming owner in 2026, has given me the opportunity to create a supportive learning environment where learners feel valued, confident, and inspired to succeed.

Sarah Larkin
I kind of fell into dentistry over 20 years ago, and I've worked in many different sectors such as General Practice, Orthodontics, Endodontics and (my passion) Implants.
I feel the best part of the job is seeing a patient's journey from the moment they walk in the door on their first consultation to the final day of treatment.
Now, as I'm getting older, and having gotten to the top of my career ladder by being the Clinical Manager, I would love to pass on my my knowledge and experience with teaching and tutoring.
One thing to know about me - I love leopard print! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family including my 2 year old grandson, and crocheting! No I'm not 80 yet!

Sally-Joanne Tear
I have been nursing for almost 20 years after watching an extraction as a Dental Receptionist to see what I thought. Safe to say, I was hooked! To this day I still have a passion for any surgical aspect of the job, and have progressed to nursing for Implants, Sinus Lifts, Socket Preservations and Apicectomies.
I have gained many other skills and qualifications along the way including working with a Specialist Endodontist, Dental Radiography and CBCT, Fluoride Application and I am excited to pass on all of my knowledge to the future generation of nurses after gaining my Teaching Blended Learning qualification.
In my spare time, my life revolves around my family, Rugby and I love to walk my two (sometimes very wet and muddy) dogs.

Rebecca Morris

I am very much a 'people person I enjoy spending time motivating like-minded colleagues. My passion is supporting professionals in their work.
Working in the dental sector, I met my mentor Glenys in 1998 and studied for level 4 and 5 management qualifications.
My work has included running a two-site dental business in Southampton as their Business Manager. My responsibilities were to grow the practice and increase profitability by supporting and guiding its practice managers.
I worked for DPAS Ltd, supporting 140 dental practices in the South and South East, sharing knowledge of dental practice to help them build and market their services.
Dental Nursing is now widely known and respected throughout the dental profession. I was part of the team that created the Dental Nursing Magazine; this publication has allowed nurses to have their say. I have also developed and run local training and support groups for dental nurses.
My current role is tutoring dental practice managers with The Glenys Bridges Academy plus supporting a local GP practice in becoming more proactive in their approach. I managed/lead the COVID Boosting project in Salisbury, where we vaccinated up to 1000 people daily.
In addition, I am a project coordinator for a large livestock veterinary practice, which shows how versatile management training can be and how it can create different avenues of opportunity.
I enjoy working with the general public and practice teams. I strive to build good working relationships within those groups and to pass on the know-how to help new managers gain important skills and achievements

In June 2015 Glenys Bridges Practice Pathways joined a collaboration with Dawood and Tanner Academy, to continue to provide existing programmes in an extended range of formats, including workshops from our Central London training rooms. The Academy consists of three divisions:
