My business strapline is "Bridging the Management Gap" and this is exactly what I do for many dental practices across the UK and Ireland.
The practice owner and manager (if there is one) have a big job to deliver making sure that the practice grows and prospers using a wide range of skills including team building, marketing, staff & patient communication, appraisals, performance monitoring, financial management, change management, project management and customer service.
Many of these essential business areas are adequately covered by practices but in many cases there are gaps where no-one in the practice has the skills, knowledge, confidence or time to undertake one or more. Time is usually the biggest enemy and can often result in hard-pressed practice owners trying to resolve and manage important issues in lunch breaks, during the evening and at weekends.
Each practice is different and we work together to identify and fill these gaps through a range of options including mentoring, training, coaching, direct support in practice and on-going remote support as and when needed.
Some practices I work with a few hours a month, others 3 or 4 days a month. Others contact me as and when they need support. This flexibility can make all the difference to your business.
