With over 27 years of experience in dentistry, I have built a career dedicated to supporting and developing dental professionals. Beginning my journey in dentistry in 1999 and qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2001, I have gained extensive experience across a variety of roles within the dental team, including Oral Health Education (OHE), Fluoride Varnish Application (FVA), mentoring trainee dental nurses, and practice management.
For seven years, I worked within a mixed private/NHS practice in North Wales as both a HIW Registered Manager and Practice Manager. During this time, I developed a strong interest in dental compliance, leadership, and the ongoing professional development of dental teams.
In 2023, I began my journey as a tutor with Denttrack and The Glenys Bridges Academy. Starting as Deputy Head of Centre, I progressed to Head of Centre, where I further developed my leadership, mentoring, and educational skills while supporting learners and dental professionals in their career progression. In April 2026, I proudly became the owner of The Glenys Bridges Academy, allowing me to further combine my passion for dentistry, education, leadership, and team development.
I am passionate about education, learning, and empowering dental professionals to reach their full potential. In particular, I am committed to supporting dental nurses in extending their scope of practice, building confidence, and developing new skills that enhance both patient care and career progression.onal and professional development inspires me to create opportunities for others to grow within the profession. I strongly believe in sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and fostering a positive learning environment where individuals feel supported to succeed. Through The Glenys Bridges Academy, I am dedicated to delivering high-quality training, inspiring lifelong learning, and helping dental professionals build the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to thrive in their careers.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our two children, and our chihuahua Minnie. I am also a huge Disney enthusiast and love visiting Walt Disney World whenever I can — something that perfectly reflects my belief in imagination, growth, and lifelong learning.
