This taster course is a forerunner for the Denttrack Advanced Skills and the Level 5 Skills for CQC Registered Managers. The programme defines the skills and duties of Registered Managers, in the dental sector, which are exacting and scrutinised when the inspectors call. This programme has been designed to prepare Registered Managers for study for the Denttrack Level 5 or Advanced Skills
The programme aims to develop the learner’s ability to ensure that patients have their needs met through a regulated activity that an appropriate person manages
. It provides training and development to enable candidates to perform tasks intrinsic to their role and provides recognition of knowledge, competence, and skills to manage the regulated activities.
Our programmes are quality-assured through the ILM Recognised Scheme. ILM is an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation or the AIM Qualification Quality Assurance programme. They aim to provide high-quality fit-for-purpose vocational qualifications.

Her training programmes have been developed in response to the needs and feedback of generations of students, with the specific aim of providing relevant, structured training programmes, using flexible blended teaching, and learning techniques.
After enrolling on one of our courses, your tutor will contact you to develop your learning plan. Most students opt to have a weekly 30-minute tutorial via Zoom or WhatsApp. Learning begins with directed reading and research, leading to the completion of learning activities linked to your course
The Gateway Courses serve as an entry point to our extensive selection of practice management courses. They provide participants with a structured introduction to the programme, ensuring they are adequately prepared to progress. It offers: Skill Check Assessment. As part of the Gateway Course, participants will undertake a skill check assessment. This process is designed to evaluate whether they possess the essential learning skills required to advance further within the programme. Introduction to Teaching and Learning Methods Participants will receive an overview of our teaching and learning approaches, including workflows, tools, and communication styles. This introduction helps ensure that these methods align with your needs before you commit to an Advanced or Higher course. This course is delivered over 6 weeks, with the course fee including 6 weeks of tutor support. After this period, additional monthly packages of tutor support can be purchased at a fee of £100 plus VAT per month
