Criteria
Taster Programme- Foundation Skills for CQC Registered Managers
- Explain the roles and interactions of Registered Managers and Registered Providers.
- Discuss the origins and development of principles of quality management in dental practices
- Analyse the impact of quality management principles for well-led dental services
Course Aims
To enable registered managers to develop the required knowledge and skills for the delivery of outstanding services, by exploring a wide range of management skills and techniques in the context the legal and professional regulations governing exceptional dental services.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, the candidate will be able to:
- Maintain collaborative interactions between Registered Providers and Registered Managers
- Implement regulatory objectives and associated regulations
- Lead a whole team approach to dental services
- Plan and organise practice services
- Develop and maintain effective practice policies and procedures
The Gateway Courses serve as an entry point to our extensive selection of practice management courses. They provide participants with a structured introduction to the programme, ensuring they are adequately prepared to progress. It offers: Skill Check Assessment. As part of the Gateway Course, participants will undertake a skill check assessment. This process is designed to evaluate whether they possess the essential learning skills required to advance further within the programme. Introduction to Teaching and Learning Methods Participants will receive an overview of our teaching and learning approaches, including workflows, tools, and communication styles. This introduction helps ensure that these methods align with your needs before you commit to an Advanced or Higher course. This course is delivered over 6 weeks, with the course fee including 6 weeks of tutor support. After this period, additional monthly packages of tutor support can be purchased at a fee of £100 plus VAT per month
